- A CEREMONY OF CAROLS – a dramatic concert work with medieval texts and poems set to music which ranges from plainsong to lyrical songs set around the Christmas story.
- Traditional Christmas songs … The three Kings (Cornelius) , Shepherds’ farewell, (Berlioz).
- Christmas carols with the audience … Hark, the herald angels sing, Away in a manger and O come all ye faithful.

‘Karl Jenkins’ Requiem sets the traditional Latin text of the Requiem mass, …interspersed with haiku “death” poems (sung in Japanese) whose delicate, epigrammatic texts provide a peaceful commentary on the liturgical words. The result is a deeply moving expression of spirituality, whose musical tying together of different cultures provides a link that is highly appropriate to the modern world.’ (Boosey & Hawkes)
