Glen Eira City Choir

The following information is for a Past Concert.
Christmas in Song: Sunday 13th December, 2009 at 2:30pm, at St Mary's Anglican Church, 281 Glen Eira Road, Caulfield North
Guest Artists: Michael Lapina (tenor)
Tickets: $20 adult $15 concession and groups of 10 and more
Under the direction of guest conductor, Mr Steven Stanke, and accompanied by organist, Mr Hugh Fullarton, the choir presents an afternoon of Christmas songs including O Holy Night, The Shepherd's Farewell, choruses from Bach's Christmas Oratorio and Saint-Saens Christmas Oratorio, choruses from Vivaldi's Gloria, and other well known and much loved Christmas songs. Our guest tenor, Michael Lapina, will perform The Prayer, The Holy City, Nessum Dorma and lead the choir in O Holy night and Panis Angelicus. There will also be some audience carols. Afternoon tea will follow the performance.
